Can your floors be used outside?

Yes, our dance floors can be used outside.

For outdoor setups, the big things we look at are:

Surface: concrete, turf, grass, gravel, sand, etc.

Shade/cover: open air, under a tent, or under a clear tent

Heat: if it’s outdoors, under a clear tent, or in a hot/no-AC venue, acrylic floors will require a radiant barrier layer underneath to handle sun/heat safely.Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. The hotel hosting my event offer their own dance floor, but I would like a different look than what they offer. Whar are my options?

Yes, we can absolutely cover an existing hotel dance floor with a full vinyl wrap — that’s a very common request. What are my main choices for a new look?

Vinyl Wrap: A large sticker sheet put over the old floor to show custom colors, patterns, or name Vinyl .

I would like to do a vinyl printed floor. What surfaces can will you install on and what are my vinyl options?

Vinyl printed floors work best on smooth, hard surfaces like concrete, tile, and wood, while offering options such as adhesive-backed vinyl, slip-resistant commercial vinyl, and removable tradeshow vinyl.

Compatible Floor Surfaces

Concrete: Must be smooth, clean, dry, and fully sealed before installation.

Wood: Hardwood or plywood must be flat, stable, and free of gaps or loose boards.

Tile: Existing ceramic or vinyl tile works if grout lines are flat or filled.

Uneven surfaces: Avoid carpets, dirt, or heavily damaged floors because they show bumps and stop the glue from sticking.Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

Will you apply your Vinyl floors directly to concrete?

For vinyl wraps, we normally install directly onto the venue’s existing floor (concrete, wood, etc.) using event-grade adhesive that’s designed to be temporary and removable.

On the paint question: I’m not 100% sure how your specific venue’s paint or sealer will react, and I don’t want to guess. That’s something our sales/operations team evaluates based on:Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. What are your graphics requirements? Faith - this can go in another area

File type (if you’re providing the art)Must be vector format: .AI, .EPS, .SVG, or vector PDFNo Canva, JPG, or PNG for full-floor printing (they’re almost always too small)

Quality & sizeArtwork should be created as vector so it can scale to floor size without losing qualityIf any images are embedded, they must be very high resolution and your rep will need to review them

Colors & fontsOutline or include all fonts , or convert text to outlines/curvesIf you have specific brand colors, provide Pantone or CMYK values so we can match as closely as possible

BackgroundFor monograms/decals : we usually want a transparent background so only the design shows on the floorFor full wraps : the background is part of the design (pattern, solid color, etc.)

Proof & approvalOur team sends a digital proof ~14 days before the eventYou’ll review and approve before anything is printedExtra revision rounds beyond the standard can add design feesDescribe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links. Vector Files ONLY (NO .JPG OR .PNG)

To ensure the highest print quality and the best final product, we have specific art file

requirements for files provided by our customers.

Please note that we specialize in large format printing. A monogram originally created for

napkins or invitations may not reproduce well at a larger scale.

If you are unable to provide the necessary files or if your files do not meet these

requirements, our designers can create the proper files for you at an additional fee.

Vector artwork is a type of digital image created using

mathematical equations, consisting of points and lines,

which allows it to be scaled up or down without losing

quality, unlike a regular "image" (often called a raster

image) which is made up of pixels and can become

pixelated when resized significantly; essentially, vector

art is smooth and precise at any size, while a standard

image can appear blurry or jagged when enlarged.

Vinyl Graphics - Art File Requirements

• Acceptable file types:

.AI (Adobe Illustrator) .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

.EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) .PDF (Portable Document Format)

• CMYK Color Mode Only

• 300 DPI or higher (raster image) when art is scaled at 100%. A helpful tip:

if the image can be easily emailed, its resolution is likely too low and the

quality will not be suitable for large format printing.

• Fonts must be outlined or a font file provided

• Lines must be a minimum of 1/4” wide

• Custom colors require a 6-digit HEX number (e.g. #FF0000Red)

• Pantone (Spot) Colors must be of the PANTONE Matching

System (PMS) More specifically Coated (e.g. PMS 877 C)

I'd like to add a monogram on my dance floor. what are the specifics?

Regarding the monogram, we always ask for a vector file whenever possible, such as an AI (Adobe Illustrator) file. Vector files can be scaled to any size without losing quality or becoming pixelated, which is especially important when printing something as large as a dance floor.

Please also keep in mind that colors can appear differently throughout the process, from your screen, to email, to our computers, and finally through the printing process. Because of this, we always recommend providing the exact Pantone color or HEX code for the monogram whenever possible so we can achieve the closest possible color match.

For a 20' x 20' dance floor, we typically recommend either a 6' x 6' or an 8' x 8' monogram. Our standard pricing for monograms is $5.75 per square foot. This includes printing the vinyl, weeding the excess material, applying transfer tape, installing the monogram onto the dance floor, and removing the transfer tape once the installation is complete.

If you are simply looking to purchase the monogram from us rather than having us install it, we would be happy to offer it at a reduced rate since the installation labor would not be required. Shipping would be additional and typically ranges from $100–$300, depending on the size of the order and insurance requirements.

If artwork is not provided in a print-ready vector format, we charge a design fee of $100 per hour to recreate or prepare the artwork. We also charge a production rate of $100 per hour, which covers loading the printers, printing, contour cutting, weeding, taping, packaging, and preparing everything for shipment.File type (if you’re providing the art)Must be vector format: .AI, .EPS, .SVG, or vector PDFNo Canva, JPG, or PNG for full-floor printing (they’re almost always too small)
